With the SMT-compatible PEM ReelFast fasteners, printed board assemblies can be fitted with all necessary connecting elements in just one working step. Unlike methods previously used, they not only save time, they reduce the costs of labour. The nuts, bushes, spacers, captive screws and rectangular connectors are taped together ready for use and they can thus be used without difficulty and reliably in existing automated SMT-insertion equipment. 

According to type and design, they can fulfil a large number of different requirements such as securing components onto circuit boards, securing one board to another, a board to the chassis or when stacking, or used as a spacer. They can be used in plated drilled holes as well as in non-plated holes.
