For more than three decades, various branches of industry have been using Spiralock® when critical and highly stressed threaded connections are required.
The connection of external and internal threads by means of Spiralock® unique self-locking thread technology reliably prevents loosening phenomena due to vibration and at the same time allows the unrestricted use of conventional threaded bolts.
This effect is achieved through the special design of the internal thread.

Introduction to the technology
As soon as the stress on the connection endangers the immovable seat, the change in the flank angle in the internal thread causes the flank tip of the standard external thread to be pressed firmly against the beveled surfaces.
Radial play does not occur, there is even contact over the entire length of the thread.
The result is simple but effective: a traditional screw connection is improved into an even safer and more reliable connection.

Hex flange nuts - metric
Standard Spiralock® nuts correspond to strength class 10 and are compatible with the standards 4g6g, 6g and MJ class.
Spiralock® nuts correspond in their sizes to the IFI standards. The standard coating is made of clear zinc chromate.
