TAPPEX TRISERT-3® – SELF-CUTTING THREAD INSERTS

The TRISERT-3® thread insert for screwing in by TAPPEX® can be used in light alloys and plastics as a self-cutting thread insert. In pre-moulded and pre-drilled attachment holes the three cutting slots create firm bonding with the base material. 

Advantages:

  • Creation of a high strength thread in metal & plastic.
  • Allowing repeated tightening and loosening of bolted fastenings.
  • Self-cutting – no thread-cutting required in the installation hole.
  • Faster installation thanks to higher gradient angle of the thread sides.
